London Restaurants
|
Taking the Mrs out for her birthday in a few weeks time. Looking for something slightly more upmarket than Nandos.
Been to the only Michelin star restaurant near us a few months back (www.parishouse.co.uk) but never eaten in a quality place in London before.
Can anyone recommend a place? We're coming in to Euston station.
Anyone used www.opentable.co.uk before?

Chiltern Firehouse is the most popular, if you can get in and like in places.
Purely food, I would go Mosimann's, again if you can get in.

Le Gavroche was a great experience but wouldn't want to do it too often.

Clos maggiore covent garden. Beautiful restaurant.. Very romantic.. Have booked tables through opentable website & it's worked fine. The restaurant normally call you on the day or the day before to confirm your reservation.

I really enjoy eating at le gavroche, but waiting times are long.
I really enjoyed textures that was nice. It depends on what kind of food you really enjoy eating.

Heard Galvin Windows isn't all that now
I've realised if you want top food, do not go for a restaurant with a great view, because thats what you pay for.
Sushi Samba or the duck place on Heron Tower, hard to get a booking though.
Bar Bar Ricard is top, trendy place, not like this steak places
Can anyone recommend other good trendy places?
